S.I.’s & P.S.’s – Odd numbered licenses – it’s time to renew

For licenses that end in a 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9, the Renewal Period opened May 1, 2023. Expiration dates can be verified at http://www.arkansas.gov/pels/search/search.php.  If the expiration date shows 30-June-23 then it will expire Friday, June 30, 2023. There is no grace period, your license will lapse if not renewed before the expiration date.  If your records indicate differently, please call our office 501.682.2824. Online Renewal Instructions:  

  1. Access - PELS at: https://pelslicensing.arkansas.gov.
  2. Login - with your PELS Unique Username & Password.
  3. Choose: "License & Application Information - Individual"

  4. Click: "Renew" to the left of the license you are renewing.
  5. Follow the instructions, payment can be made with a Debit/Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) or eCheck.
  6. Your renewal is complete upon receipt of the Confirmation page - which contains your Receipt (Transaction Number) and new expiration date. Print/save for your records.
  7. Your Receipt is also emailed and available on the Receipts screen within PELS.

Effective 9/1/2020, a Professional Surveyor is required to have at least two PDH of AR Standards of Practice No. 1 for Property Boundary Surveys and Plats for each renewal period. For more information, visit Article 19 of the Board’s Rules.
